Gas Lift Lever

Q.How do I operate the lever to make the chair rise and fall?

A. Push the lever upwards slowly to make the chair rise, and do the same but this time sitting on it, to make the chair fall.

Q. If the handle moves in and out, what should I do?

A. This should operate the tilt mechanism when your chair has only got one lever. Pull the lever outwards to release the tilt and push the lever back in to lock the tilt.

Seat Slide

Q. How does the seat slide work?

A. Either:

  1. Use the bar located on the underside of the seat. Pull this bar forwards and upwards to release the slide mechanism.
  2. Use the small knob on the side of the mechanism; pulling it should allow you to control the seat slide.

Synchro Mechanism

Q. What do the different levers on my chair do?

A.If your chair has two levers one will operate the gas lift (RH side), whilst the left handle will operate the tilt mechanism. If you have an additional lever behind the gas lift, then this is the one that will operate the back and enable you to lock the back into a comfortable seating position.

Q. What do I do when the seat tilts forward?

A. If your chair has 3 levers, then you can adjust the seat by the left lever. The user can then independently move the seat into a comfortable position, i.e. where it best supports the back of the knee.

Tilting Mechanism

Q. How do I make my chair tilt if I only have one lever?

A. Twist the handle to lock or unlock the tilt (lever should be on the left hand side of the chair).
